Surprisingly kind and sad story in the story of Angel Nanetti “My grandfather was a cherry”, displayed in the performance of the theater “family album”, which tells about grandfather Ottaviano, that all the grandchildren of the world dream of. The grandfather showed his grandson Tonino an example of love for nature and hard work, opening for him a wonderful world that should be appreciated and protected.
The play “Family Album” unobtrusively touches upon the issue of the generation of grandparents and grandchildren and how important the family is in the life of every person. As well as bureaucratic issues that can change a person’s life.
At a critical moment grandfather Ottaviano stands up alone against the whole army to save the cherry tree and the whole cherry orchard.
Ottaviano`s grandson is by his side, continuing his work to save nature on earth.
A long time has passed since then, and the cherry orchard blossoms every spring, rejoicing in its beauty.
